Spacebox is a Hong Kong-based on demand storage service. We make it easy and convenient for you to manage and store your belongings by providing door-to-door drop-off, pick-up and delivery service. All storage items are stored at our secure warehouse with first-rate fire protection system. Our easy-to-use online storage management system allows you to view and retrieve your items with just a simple click.

You can choose between these storage options:

Storage by box/item
Ideal for smaller items that fit into our boxes, e.g. seasonal clothes, books, memorabilia, sports gear, etc.

Storage by sq ft
Ideal for larger items (Electrical appliances, furniture, etc.) in large volume, moving / renovation needs, etc.

We all have things lying around that we don't frequently used. Why let them take up space? Store them up and get them back whenever you need. Spacebox provides an easy storage service that helps you with that.

Our clients use our service for all kinds of purposes - clear up space, store away seasonal clothes/items, house renovation/moving, etc.

We provide door-to-door pick-up and delivery service all over Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and New Territories.

For outlying islands, we only cover Tung Chung, Ma Wan and Discovery Bay now.

You simply make an order of the boxes/units you need. We deliver empty boxes to you for free. We'll wait up to 30 minutes while you pack your stuff, or you may schedule a pick-up for a later day. Our team will then secure your boxes and take them to our warehouse.

Whenever you want something back, just log into your account and select the items you want returned. Our team will then deliver your items to your doorstep.

Spacebox (By Box/Item) is an on-demand storage service by box or item. We have 4 different kinds of boxes / units:

Document Box:
- Size: 42cm(L) x 34cm(W) x 27cm(H), Max. 15kg
- Can fit approx. 6 big ring files or 3000 A4 sheets

Standard Box:
- Size: 60cm(L) x 40cm(W) x 31cm(H), Max. 23kg
- Can fit approx. 20 pairs of shoes OR 100 tees OR 180 DVDs

Oversized Item:
- Max. 25kg, must be able to be carried by one person
- Total dimension must be within 180cm (Length + Width + Height), the longest side must be within 120cm
- Carton Box / Suitcase / Stroller, etc. Please contact us if you want to store other items.

Yes, you can. However, we will still charge you for the minimum period of the storage plan you choose.

If you choose the '3-5 months' plan, the minimum period is 3 months.

If you choose the '3-5 months' plan, the minimum charge is $299 / month for 3 months.

If you choose the '6 months+' plan, the minium charge is $149 / month for 6 months.

In general, we accept oversized items with the following criteria:
– Item weight within 25KG

We set the weight limit to protect our staffs from getting injured by moving very heavy items. If our staff finds that your box is too heavy, they may ask you to split your items into two boxes, or we may charge you an add-on fee.

You may store anything that fits in a box or most items that a man can carry.

However, the following items are strictly prohibited:
Dangerous goods (explosive, chemicals, etc.), illegal goods, live animals/plants, liquids, fragile items/glass, valuables, food stuff, perishable items and lithium batteries.

We recommend using our own boxes because they are durable, secure, and able to be sealed. But if you do wish to use your own boxes, they may be accepted as oversize items.

No worries! Our staff will seal the boxes for you with plastic straps before collecting them.

Within 24 to 48 hours usually. If you need the boxes urgently, we will try our best to deliver within the same day.

Up to 14 days.

If you need more than 14 days to pack, your monthly billing cycle will still begin 14 days after the empty box drop-off. If you can pack fast, we can wait for 30 minutes to pick up the boxes after delivering them to you, and the return transport to our warehouse (Re-Check-in) will be free.

Spacebox (By Sq Ft) is an on-demand storage service by surface area, you only pay for the space you use. We pick up storage items from your place, no matter they are boxes, suitcases, electronic or furnitures. We then take them to our warehouse for storage, and bring them back whenever you need them. It is a one-stop solution that provides convenience and flexibility.

Our storage units start from 6 sq. ft. Just let us know what you need to store, and we will help you find the right plan.

Most certainly! We only use first-rate warehouses. It is under 24-hour security / surveillance, and only accessible by our staffs.

Due to security reason, our warehouses are not open to public and are only accessible by our staffs.

All of our warehouses are equipped with automatic fire sprinkler systems, fire detection alarms and hose reels. There are no partitioning or cubicles in our storage facilities.

Our warehouse is temperature, humidity and pest-controlled. We ensure that your items are stored in optimal and hygienic condition.

We provide seals when we deliver the empty boxes to you. You can lock them up when you finish packing.

We will never open your boxes, unless:
(1) we have authorization from you
(2) we are legally obligated to do so
(3) we access a risk to safety of people or property

In any case, you will be notified beforehand.

Yes - up to max. HK$1,000 per box and HK$10,000 per client of free insurance coverage, in case of damage or theft during transport and storage.

The safety of your things is our number one priority. However, if the need arises for you to file a claim, please send an e-mail to hello@spacebox.com.hk and we will work through the claim together promptly. When filing a claim, please be sure to include the following information:

1. Subject line: Insurance Claim for [your first and last name]
2. The date when the boxes were returned to you
3. Barcode ID on the box containing the damaged or missing items
4. Detailed inventory list and replacement value of items in HKD
5. Specific description of loss or damage as it pertains to each item
6. Your contact information (phone no., e-mail and mailing address)

Your first invoice will be calculated from the day we collect items from you (First Check-in), or 14 days after empty box drop-off, whichever is earlier, to the last day of the month.

Starting the second month (including your last month upon service termination), your monthly billing cycle will be from the first day to the last day of the month.

Credit card
You will receive your first invoice the day after your First Check-in, our auto billing system will charge your registered credit card 3 days after the invoice issuance.

We will send you the subsequent invoices, and apply the relevant charges to your card automatically.

Bank transfer
You will receive your first invoice the day after your First Check-in request, which you will have to settle in 3 days or before the First Check-in, whichever is earlier.

We will send you the subsequent invoices on prepayment cycle basis, depending on how long you plan to use our storage service.

Credit card or Bank transfer.

Yes certainly! We use Stripe - one of the most secure and reputable payment processors available. No credit card information is ever stored on our servers, no one at Spacebox is able to see your credit card details.

Yes - for prepayment clients only:

Short-term clients (Storage period of less than 6 months)
You will need to pre-pay for the number of months you plan to store. (Min. 3 months)

Long-term clients (Storage period of 6 months or more)
You will need to first pre-pay for 6 months. From the 6th month onwards, we will start sending you invoices for 3-month prepayment cycles.

We will still require a credit card on record for guarantee purpose. In case of late payment for longer than 30 days, we reserve the right to use the card on record to settle the outstanding amounts.

Sorry we do not accept cash payment.

A 2.5% late payment fee of your invoice amount (min. $100) will apply if you fail to settle the invoice within 14 days of its issuance.
