All storage items are stored at our secure warehouse with first-rate fire protection system. Our easy-to-use mobile app allows you to view and retrieve your items with just a simple click.

Your first invoice will be calculated from the day we collect items from you (First Check-in), or 14 days after empty box drop-off, whichever is earlier, to the last day of the month.

Our Fees for storage Services are quoted on a full month basis.

Credit card
You will receive your first invoice the day after your First Check-in, our auto billing system will charge your registered credit card 3 days after the invoice issuance.

We will send you the subsequent invoices, and apply the relevant charges to your card automatically.

Bank transfer / FPS / PayMe / Octopus Card
You will receive your first invoice the day after your First Check-in request, which you will have to settle in 3 days or before the First Check-in, whichever is earlier.

We will send you the subsequent invoices on prepayment cycle basis, depending on how long you plan to use our storage service.

Yes certainly! We use Stripe – one of the most secure and reputable payment processors available. Stripe has been certified as PCI Service Provider Level 1. We do not store your credit card information outside of our card processing platform, no one at Spacebox is able to see your credit card details.

Available for prepayment only. Once you have completed the bank transfer, please send the bank(s) slip to billing@spacebox.com.hk or WhatsApp to 6257 9948.

Short-term clients (Storage period of less than 6 months)
You will need to pre-pay for the number of months you plan to store. (Min. 3 months)

Long-term clients (Storage period of 6 months or more)
You will need to first pre-pay for 6 months. From the 6th month onwards, we will start sending you invoices for 6-month prepayment cycles.

We will still require a credit card on record for guarantee purpose. In case of late payment for longer than 30 days, we reserve the right to use the card on record to settle the outstanding amounts.

Sorry we do not accept cash payment.

A 2.5% late payment fee of your invoice amount (min. $100) will apply if you fail to settle the invoice within 10 days of its due date.

Our warehouse is in Kwai Chung.

Most certainly! We only use first-rate warehouses. It is under 24-hour security / surveillance, and only accessible by our staffs.

Due to security reason, our warehouses are not open to public and are only accessible by our staffs.

All of our warehouses are equipped with automatic fire sprinkler systems, fire detection alarms and hose reels. There are no partitioning or cubicles in our storage facilities.

Our warehouse is temperature, humidity and pest-controlled. We ensure that your items are stored in optimal and hygienic condition.

We provide seals when we deliver the empty boxes to you. You can lock them up when you finish packing.

We will never open your boxes, unless:
(1) we have authorization from you
(2) we are legally obligated to do so
(3) we access a risk to safety of people or property

In any case, you will be notified beforehand.

Yes - up to max. HK$1,000 per box and HK$10,000 per client of free coverage, in case of damage or theft during transport and storage. Not applicable to customers of our Self Storage service at Kwun Tong.

The safety of your things is our number one priority. However, if the need arises for you to file a claim, please send an e-mail to cs@spacebox.com.hk and we will work through the claim together promptly. When filing a claim, please be sure to include the following information:

1. Subject line: Insurance Claim for [your first and last name]
2. The date when the boxes were returned to you
3. Barcode ID on the box containing the damaged or missing items
4. Detailed inventory list and replacement value of items in HKD
5. Specific description of loss or damage as it pertains to each item
6. Your contact information (phone no., e-mail and mailing address)

You simply make an order of the boxes/units you need. We deliver empty boxes to you for free. We'll wait up to 30 minutes while you pack your stuff, or you may schedule a pick-up for a later day. Our team will then secure your boxes and take them to our warehouse.

Whenever you want something back, just log into your account and select the items you want returned. Our team will then deliver your items to your doorstep.

Spacebox (By Box/Item) is an on-demand storage service by box or item. We have 4 different kinds of boxes / units:

* Overweight item: $40/box or item per level
* Empty box:
– First 3 levels, up to 10 empty boxes are free. For more than 10 empty boxes, a charge of HK$20 is applied for every group of 5 boxes per level. If fewer than 5 empty boxes exceed the group of 10, the charge is still calculated as if transporting 5 boxes.
– Beyond the first 3 levels, a charge of HK$20 is applied for every group of 5 boxes per level, starting from the first box carried beyond these levels. This includes the first 10 boxes if they are transported beyond the first three levels. If the number of boxes in any group is fewer than 5, the charge is calculated as if transporting 5 boxes.
** Customers can book a 3-hour timeslot for delivery/pick-up, and our driver will arrive accordingly. If customer is not at the registered address at the time, we will apply overtime waiting charges based on the rules above.

No return empty boxes
For clients who cannot return empty boxes within 14 days after Drop-off or Final Check-out. A box rental fee will apply:

We set the weight limit to protect our staffs from getting injured by moving very heavy items. If our staff finds that your box is too heavy, they may ask you to split your items into two boxes, or we may charge you an add-on fee.

You may store anything that fits in a box or most items that a man can carry.

However, the following items are strictly prohibited:
Dangerous goods (explosive, chemicals, etc.), illegal goods, live animals/plants, liquids, fragile items/glass, valuables, food stuff, perishable items and lithium batteries.

We recommend using our own boxes because they are durable, secure, and able to be sealed. But if you do wish to use your own boxes, they may be accepted as oversize items.

No worries! Our staff will seal the boxes for you with plastic straps before collecting them.

Within 24 to 48 hours usually. If you need the boxes urgently, we will try our best to deliver within the same day.

Up to 14 days.

If you need more than 14 days to pack, your monthly billing cycle will still begin 14 days after the empty box drop-off. If you can pack fast, we can wait for 30 minutes to pick up the boxes after delivering them to you, and the return transport to our warehouse (Re-Check-in) will be free.

For all deliveries, the earliest you can book is next business day assuming the chosen time-slot is available, as well as the booking is completed before our cutoff time at ​3pm​ the previo​us working da​y. For urgent delivery, an Express transport fee on top of the regular logistics fee will be charged (HK$20 per box, minimum HK$200 for By-Box Plan. For By-Sq Ft plan, Express transport fee will be charged based on quotation). Urgent delivery only ​applies on the same day or the next day delivery subject to availability. Spacebox (By Sq Ft) is an on-demand storage service by surface area, you only pay for the space you use. We pick up storage items from your place, no matter they are boxes, suitcases, electronic or furnitures. We then take them to our warehouse for storage, and bring them back whenever you need them. It is a one-stop solution that provides convenience and flexibility.
